This project reflects our research and ideas about the future for teacher-librarians. After reading Joyce Valenza's blog Dear ISTE: How about NETS TL?, we wondered what a series of standards for Teacher Librarians might look like based upon what ISTE, Valenza's 21st Century Manifesto, The Horizon Report and AASL Standards as well as other sources indicated would be important for the future. We chose to use SlideRocket as a presentation platform even though neither of us had used it before. As a result, this project was a learning experience on many levels.
We hope the presentation affirms much of what you are already doing in your libraries while reminding you of important areas yet to tackle.
